Compensation Fund
The SRA Compensation Fund is a last-resort fund, administered independently by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, that can help protect clients who suffer financial loss because of a dishonest solicitor or firm.
What the Fund Covers
The fund can cover losses caused by dishonesty, such as money that a solicitor or firm has taken without entitlement. It is not designed to compensate for poor service, delay, or professional negligence.
Who Administers the Fund
